I have a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer and the AC is not working consistently. It comes on and off on short trips but on longer trips it will cut out completely and just blow warm air. I have checked the coolant level (fine), changed the AC relay in the fuse box, and installed a new belt tensioner.

Pull the HVAC fuses. When re-installed, it should reset., Ac not working at all I had paid someone to change out my factory stereo in my 07 chevrolet trailblazer. When i left i tried using my a/c and nothing was blowing out of the vents at the top. I've tried getting a new a/c control module, replaced it and it still didn't work at all. I disconnected the battery along with the hvac fuses for 30 seconds., The heater / ac control only works with one or two desired settings.defrost will not work at all (2006 chevy trailblazer) The actuator motor that controls the defrost,to floor,to vent ,has gone out,this will be a job to take to the shop,the dash will have to be pulled out toward the seats to replace the actuator motor., Found the fuse under the rear seat on the driver side. Disconnected the battery, pulled the fuse waited about 15 minutes, inserted fuse, reconnected the battery, turn switch to on and turned AC/blower to off and waited 5 minutes. Tried the AC vents on top and did not work, did it 5 more times and no dice, did not work., It is called the mode door actuator. It controls air flow out the vents. Roy. 1. Remove the floor air outlet duct extension (1) from the floor duct (2). 2. Remove the center console. 3. Remove the screws from the center console duct.
