It is slightly taller than a win L wad, so it works great in the HS hulls with 7/8 load. My 7/8 load is HS hull, 17 to 17.5 of clays or red dot, win 209 primer. For 7/8 is rem hulls I use the DRXXL pink instead as the rem hull is slightly longer., 3/4 oz. 12 ga. Loads with e3. I searched the reloading section and found Case's light 3/4 oz. load. There was a comment in the string from Case that said you could use any 12 ga. powder, and using a published 7/8 oz. recipe for that powder, drop a grain or two. I know that chuckie. I shoot that load as well, but with a DR wad. It's a great load. But, nobody should rely on load data given on a discussion web as gospel. They should go by the loading manual or call the powder manufacturer if an unlisted substitution is considered.
