After replacing both the oil cooler & turbo oil return tube - I'm still getting oil leaking. This time it looked to be from the compression ring holding the turbo and exhaust together. I took the ring off and cleaned it up. Sure enough! Oil is seeping where the turbo mates with the exhaust. I'm assuming the turbo fan seal is shot., 1.4T calls for 4.25 quarts of oil. 1.8 calls for 4.75 quarts of oil. That will bring you to the middle of the hash mark on the dipstick at level ground, engine cold. Topping up to 4.5 quarts on the 1.4T and 5 quarts on the 1.8 will probably get you to the full mark.
