Shuttle shift issue on Ford 455 Backhoe. Last week I had a problem with the shuttle shift. Moving from forward to neutral did nothing, it stayed in forward. Moving to reverse put the machine in neutral, so I had no reverse. However, after shutting the engine down and restarting everything worked fine and has continued to work.
