Sep 27, 2019 · afton,ny. Tractor. mahindra 3215 ford 6600 ford 8N. I recently installed a new injector pump on my ford 6600. The problem i am having is i can not seem to get it to run smooth. I aligned the timing marks up just like the old one i took off but it smoked alot when i got it bled out and up and running looking for any suggesetions to help me out.

Neighborhood mechanic put a new clutch plate in my 7700 a year ago when the tractor was split. Clutch doesn't want to release (it does, but shifts with a lot of chattering & progressively worse), I figure needs adjusting on rod under dashboard to take up wear. But, rod already is fully in!, If it does not, the leak is in the pump/relief valve area.
