I had similar issue on my 2019 Odyssey Touring. I plugged a Logitech usb keyboard (wireless receiver) into the USB port (CarPlay) and hit ctrl+alt+del which rebooted the infotainment system. The short answer is no. You can have the directions played through the speakers, but cannot get the map on the screen. For the audio, you don't need to do "play directions as Bluetooth phone call." Just choose Bluetooth as the audio source in the Odyssey, and then start the directions on your phone.
