Knight muzzleloader breech plug

Breech plugs are still available from Knight. The removal tool was for early MKs that had a slotted breech plug. The later ones were 7/16" hex head. The early 54s I believe were 5/8" x 18 tpi, the later were11/16" x 20 tpi.

Knight muzzleloader breech plug. The breach plug is a little different than the original Lehigh but he designed both of them. As far as i know the only difference is the vent liner is not removable in the plug Knight sells. The bare 209 adapter replaces the jacket (FPJ) in the bolt and you load a bare 209 primer into the installed adapter.

The current plugs that you see for sale is the 11/16 x 20 plug and most of the later 54cals used the same plug. Just pull it out and measure it. If it is 11/16" diameter then any of the current plugs out should work.
