Northville placid trail

This section of the Northville-Placid Trail begins at the Benson Rd trailhead and travels to the banks of the West Stony Creek. The forest is primarily hardwood with several small hemlock groves and some mixed pine/hardwood areas. The trail crosses the shoulder of a small hill and then is fairly level until a 500' descent into the valley of the West Stony Creek.
