Insider trading..., The 2023 fall pheasant season is in full swing as upland hunters take to nearly two dozen Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs) and other private and federal property sites across the state. MassWildlife has been stocking pheasants since the 1890s! The program is still going strong with over 40,000 pheasants stocked each year on public and private lands that are open to hunting.
