Ram 2500 stuck in 4th gear

If it tries to shift into 5th (and slips, then aborts) it should set a P0735 fault, and put you into logical limp-in (1st and 4th gears only). If that is what's happening, you probably have a burned OD clutch. But if the TCM is never telling it to shift, then the problem is likely in the PCM (or the throttle or output speed reading).

Replaced PCM, Torque converter, Pump Assy, cluthes (the 4 cluthes were not burnt, but did have metal grit stuck in the friction material) Installed new clutch and 4C clutch retainer was melted to the reverse flush cooler. Installed new PCM and flashed PCM.
