The font in the original logo looks like a smoothed/evened out edit, word comic sans, and honestly the 3D "snoo" is pretty cute. It's a nice rebrand, I don't really get the hate. Sure, the details in the counter of the "D" won't really be visible at small sizes, but we haven't seen the rebrand in action yet and how it will be handled overall.
