My Jaheira died in the Moonrise attack as well. I don’t know how it’s going to affect you, but she showed up during the last Act alive. Unlike other players, she was never part of my party. Not sure if the developers took this into account or not (story discontinuity). I was also able to teleport Dammon and Jaheira to the Gauntlet of Shar as well, which may be an even safer place.
